Our client is an internationally active, owner-managed manufacturing company in the field of plastic processing with a clear focus on practical customer solutions, whose order books are very well filled. At the location in the southern catchment area of Hamburg, products and applications are developed in close coordination between technology, sales and customers. From here, customers are supplied throughout Europe, e.g. from the construction and electronics industry, the automotive and medical technology industry.

On the exclusive order of our client, we are looking for you at the next time - an experienced application engineer (m/w/d) with experience in the field of plastic extrusion.

Technical advice and support of customers in the selection, design and application of the products and support in ongoing operations Implementation and documentation of application-related tests, tests and sampling in coordination with customers, sales and internal technology Analysis of complaints and technical vulnerabilities, development of causes analyses, derivation and follow-up of sustainable corrective measures Creation of practical technical documents (e.g. application instructions, test instructions, data sheets) and training of users and internal colleagues Close cooperation with interfaces such as sales, production and quality assurance, in order to absorb requirements from the market and to translate them into feasible solutions

Complete technical training or a technical study, ideally related to customer advice and product technical questions Experience in a practical technical role (e.g. application technology, technical support, process engineering or project engineering) in the field of plastics extrusion Structured analytical methods for the safe assessment of technical facts and for the comprehensible preparation of results and recommendations for action Impressed communication skills and service orientation in order to convey technical content according to the address and to develop sustainable solutions with customers and internal stakeholders independent work, team capacity and implementation strength; willingness to make appointments on site in Buxtehude as well as for customers
