Very successfully completed academic studies (Master of Science or equivalent) in materials science, materials engineering or mechanical engineering Knowledge of the material science of metallic non-ferrous materials Proven practical experience in the additive manufacturing of metallic materials with the methods DED and/or PBF-LB Enthusiasm for work in research and skillful handling of complex systems and devices Independent, structured and conscientious working Embossed self-initiative, team skills and motivation for further scientific qualification Proven good German (B2) and English (B2, e.g. according to the German Abitur) Further qualification in the course of a doctorate Experiences in: Metallographic sample preparation Microstructure material analysis, e.g. Scanning electron microscopy Mechanical material testing, for example tensile testing or nanoindentation
