The social paediatric centre (SPZ) covers approximately 2,000 patients per year and is part of the centre for children and young people at Klinikum Esslingen GmbH. In the SPZ, patients with the entire spectrum of social-paediatric issues are supervised.

The body is limited to one year (parent-time representation) and comprises a part-time agency with 50–60 %.

This is your working day

• Comprehensive development diagnostics in infant and pre-school age with complex development and/or behavioural deviations as well as profound development disorders.
• Create an individual funding and treatment plan, including family dynamics and sociocultural reference systems.
• Advice and psychoeducation of parents and reference persons, strengthening parental competence.
• Networking and cooperation with the social environment and institutions involved.
• Designing internal and external training events.

This will bring you

• State examination or completed study of medical education (Master/Diplom).
• Finded experience in development and interaction diagnosis in children, especially in childhood and pre-school age, with additional qualification in recognized therapy methods.
• Experience and consulting skills in working with families.
• Willingness to engage and collegial cooperation in our interdisciplinary team.
• motivation for professional development and independent work.
• Interest in active participation and further development of the SPZ.
