You take over the technical responsibility for renewal and maintenance projects in the fields of control and safety technology, railway transfer technology, radio and communication technology as well as railway hub systems and electrical engineering. This allows you to contribute directly to the operational safety and availability of the port railway. Through the development of strategic concepts, such as the modernization of control systems, the introduction of the ETCS train safety technology or the expansion of the overhead line systems, You ensure that the port railway remains efficient and sustainable in the long term. When implementing legal requirements such as KRITIS, you ensure technical compliance and contribute significantly to the resilience and system stability of the infrastructure. In your role, you take over the coordination with supervisory authorities and responsible approval processes – so you create planning and legal certainty for the implementation of the project. In close cooperation with the areas of Oberbau, Bahnbrücken and Betriebsmanagement, you will ensure a coordinated overall concept and ensure a fully functional infrastructure.

You have a bachelor/master degree in electrical engineering – ideally with deepening in control and safety technology or a comparable additional qualification. Your experience in planning, construction or maintenance of systems of control and safety technology, communications technology or electrical engineering enables you to effectively implement technical solutions. Basic knowledge in superstructure or rail operation helps you to capture complex infrastructure projects holistic. With your analytical, structured and independent work, you can advance projects efficiently and in a targeted manner.
