As a software engineer (m/w/d) with a focus on embedded systems, you have the opportunity to realize complex projects and drive innovative technologies forward. Your tasks:

• the design, development and maintenance of a transversal software platform for optical systems
• requirements engineering and software specification
• the cross-sectional and specific development of the platform and the associated development processes
• the middleware program for automation distributed systems with CAN bus and Ethernet
• the object-oriented development in C++
• the agile planning and implementation of software development in the team
• the use of modern software, web technologies (git, jira, confluence CMake, catch2, sqlite, buildroot, Enterprise Architect, ...)

PREPARATIONS:

The position as an embedded software developer (m/w/d) requires a combination of technical skills, experience and passion for demanding software projects. With your expertise you bring creative solutions and precision.

Your qualifications:

• a completed study of computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline
• completed vocational training focusing on embedded software development
• at least over 5 years of professional experience
• Experiences in software architecture description with UML in Enterprise Architect, object-oriented software development with C++(17/23) for Buildroot Linux, QNX and FreeRTOS
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and specification creation in DOORS
• Knowledge of middleware programming in at least one of the following technologies MQTT, DDS, CANopen
• Knowledge of the development of unit and component tests
• knowledge of German and English
