The Federal Office for Constitutional Protection (BfV) makes a significant contribution to the security of citizens as a domestic news service of the Federal Republic of Germany.

You are responsible for the analysis and evaluation of cyber-attacks relevant to the protection of intellectual property, as well as corresponding attacks. On the basis of technical reports and analyses, you will examine the infrastructure used, the approach of the attackers and their tactics and methods. In the form of presentations, maps and notes, you prepare the results obtained in an address-oriented manner and make them available to the relevant stakeholders. You will also participate in national and international conferences and conferences. You continuously monitor current developments in information technology and information processing, analyze technological trends and evaluate their relevance in the context of modern cyber threats.

You possess German nationality and have: as an official/official on career qualifications or the conditions for the recognition of career qualifications for the higher non-technical administrative service of the Federal Government; or on a Master's degree from the Departments of Administration, Economics, Political and Social Sciences We also expect: strong social competence, team skills, intercultural and gender and diversity competence Coordination and organisational capacity, independent and conceptual work, commitment and resilience, even in times of ineffective service good English skills and knowledge in the field of Internet technologies (digital competence) and IT-Affinity You will preferably bring a multiannual professional experience to a safety authority in an analysis or evaluation report.
