Head of Production Machining (m/f/d)

Total responsibility for machining (turning & milling) with more than 40 employees (including work preparation, job control and CAM programming) Close cooperation with the management in the further development of production Leadership of the organization via team leaders, shift managers and representations Ensuring a stable and efficient production process in terms of delivery reliability, quality, productivity and economy Control, development and harmonisation of manufacturing processes across both technologies Combining investment decisions in the machine park Responsibility for capacity planning, resource use and budget Further development of leadership standards, shopfloor routines and clear responsibilities Introduction and Development of Lean Methods and Continuous Improvement Processes (KVP) Analysis, control and further development of relevant KPIs in shopfloor management Sparring partners for sales, quality assurance and adjacent areas Further development of organisational structures and management processes within production Active support of change processes and further development of corporate culture in the production environment Active participation in the introduction of a CAQ system and the use of digital measuring stations.

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in cutting production with a sound understanding of turning and/or milling processes Experience in a higher-level guide roller in the production environment, e.g. as a production manager, production manager, area manager or comparable Impressed Methodology Competence in Lean Management, Process Optimization and Production Control Safe handling of key figures and experience in shopfloor management Experience in leadership of executives and in building powerful organisations Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented mode of operation High communication strength, enforcing ability and social competence presence in production and a clear hands-on mentality
