Your tasks in detail: strategically designing PLM transformation You develop the change and transformation strategy for PLM.AI and implement it effectively in a complex, international environment

You analyze cross-departmental impacts on processes, roles, responsibilities, competencies and cooperation and guide strategic recommendations and concrete measures

You translate complex technical and technical PLM content into understandable change logics, target images and decision bases for different target groups

You develop alternative scenarios and integrierst business, engineering and IT requirements in sustainable transformation approaches

You work closely with journey teams, fundamentals, PLM and business architecture, IT, departments and external partners and tax challenging stakeholder configurations

Automotive PLM and Future Engineering You analyze complex PLM, engineering and data management processes along the entire product life cycle

You work on topics such as Product Structure, Part Management, Engineering Change, Approval, Validity Control, Bill of Material, Variant Logic, Digital Thread and Data Quality

You understand the importance of EBOM, MBOM, SBOM, Configuration Management, Release Processes and Digital Mock-Up for an Integrated Product Development

You evaluate historically grown working methods, system and interface landscapes in terms of sustainability, degree of integration and AI potential

You support the long-term orientation of a modern, scalable and AI-capable PLM logic across development, production, purchasing, sales and after sales

Evaluate new technologies and accelerate AI adoption You recognize, analyze and evaluate new technologies and developments in the IT and AI market in terms of their benefits for PLM and engineering

You initiate and accompany evaluation projects and use cases, including research as well as internal and external experts

You develop approaches to how AI can be used practically, responsibly and effectively for better decisions, faster processes, higher data quality and new ways of working

You support executives, teams and users in transition to an AI-first Way of Working

You design scalable enablement formats, such as workshops, learning journeys, communities and multiplier networks

Bringing people and organization into motion You recognize resistances, uncertainties and run-in routines in complex engineering organizations and develop targeted interventions

You work with stakeholders at eye level, even without direct leadership, and create alignment between business and IT

Ideally, you bring the following: Outstanding degree with IT - Contents

Multiannual experience in demanding PLM, engineering, digitization or transformation projects, ideally in the automotive or industrial environment

Funded knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, Product Data Management or Engineering Data Management as well as experience with marketable PLM systems

Practical knowledge in several of the following topics: EBOM, MBOM, SBOM, Variant Configuration, Engineering Change, Configuration Management, Release Processes, Digital Thread, Data Quality, Process Harmonization, PLM Operating Models or Governance

Experience in global or international PLM, engineering or digital transformations as well as in change management, adoption or enablement in technical environments

Detectable experience in the introduction, scaling or adoption of AI, GenAI or copilot solutions in engineering, product development or knowledge work environments

Experience with AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Knowledge Retrieval, Digital Engineering Assistants or comparable AI solutions is beneficial

You have experienced transformations (also outside established corporate structures) and bring best practices of leading technology, engineering or industrial companies with

German and English fluent in word and writing

Other languages and international work experience are advantageous
