You are analysing technical and infrastructural requirements for transnational applications. You create and develop technical concepts, specifications and solution architectures (software, database, network, cloud, enterprise) You are responsible for technical designs and application architectures and ensure compliance with standards and specifications. You identify and evaluate dependencies on other components as well as the technical impact of changes and reflect architectural and technical documentation. You analyze and evaluate application elements in terms of performance, scalability, sustainability, IT security and error tolerance and take appropriate measures. You advise stakeholders on technical and architectural issues, prepare policy templates and participate in strategic decisions at higher level. You design and accompany quality assurance and non-Functional tests You work closely with internal areas, other central banks, external providers and the ECB in international project relations.

Master's or equivalent degree in computer science or business informatics or a comparable subject Good knowledge, experience and a comprehensive understanding of complex IT landscapes and their working relationships, including hybrid architectures with public and private cloud services Very good knowledge and experience in IT architecture and architecture design (frameworks, standards) as well as in modelling, integration and evaluation of system and application architectures Good knowledge of payment transactions and European payment infrastructures (e.g. SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022, real-time payments) and relevant regulatory requirements Very good knowledge and experience in project and process management as well as in major international projects and stakeholder management Knowledge and experience in handling innovative technologies (e.g. DLT, AI/hyper-automation, Composable Architectures, sustainable IT approaches) Good knowledge and experience in dealing with agile methods and procedures (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking) Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills Impressive team skills and good knowledge in intercultural cooperation Very good communication skills in German and English
