Shipping clerk (m/f/d)

International shipping control: You handle worldwide shipments (air, sea and land freight) and coordinate external service providers and packaging activities Document & customs management: You shall draw up all necessary shipping, freight and export documents, shall be responsible for the professional execution of export declarations and preferential documents (e.g. EUR.1, certificates of origin) Customs Tariff & master data: In close consultation with our technical departments, you take over the classification of goods in the Customs Tariff and maintain the corresponding master data Export Control & Compliance: You check our goods according to national and European export control law, monitor boycott and sanctions lists and apply for necessary export authorisations at BAFA Detection: You actively control the collection and control of request confirmations and initial notes on the legally secure VAT exemption Import processing: You coordinate and monitor the smooth import customs processing Communication: You are contact persons for our departments (e.g. sales services, warehouses, technical departments) as well as customs offices and authorities

Training/Professional Experience: Commercial Vocational Training, ideally focused on logistics or foreign trade or long-term, well-founded experience in this field External economics: knowledge in the field of external economic law, customs law and export control processes and tools IT-Skills: Routinized handling of ERP systems, customs software and MS Office Languages: Good English knowledge in word and writing for international correspondence Working method: Structured, independent and even under time pressure absolutely precise Soft Skills: Communication strength, organisational skills and a pronounced team orientation Adjustment: High readiness and flexibility in a dynamic environment
