IT Emergency Manager (m/f/d)

The Department 22 “Central IT Services” is the property 22.2 “Central IT Services” of one of three subject areas. This is responsible for the emergency management of the IT infrastructure of the LZPD NRW department 2. One of the key objectives of IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) is to ensure the continuity of IT environments and the availability of their data at a level of performance sufficient for business operations through an organised IT emergency management. In addition, it is ensured that the data loss is reduced to an acceptable minimum in an emergency. The main areas of the tasks to be carried out are: Participation in defining and modeling the ITCSM process (including process roles and responsibilities) Participation in ensuring the minimum availability of defined products and infrastructure services/products of the LZPD when a critical IT incident occurs Definition of KPIs for measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the process (including reporting) Conducting regular reviews (process audits) to ensure continuous process improvement (rolling, responsibilities, key figures and documentation)

You have a successfully completed (specialized) university course (bachelor or corresponding university degree) of computer science, business informatics, information or communication technology or a comparable degree course and ideally three-year relevant professional experience or You have a successfully completed vocational training and a further training on the operative professional (w/m/d) or the master (w/m/d) or as an alternative to a state-tested technical degree in the above-mentioned areas and ideally three-year relevant professional experience or Alternatively, you have a corresponding vocational training in the above-mentioned areas and ideally six-year relevant professional experience in information and communication technology and Acknowledgment to participate in a readiness and willingness to carry out an extended safety review (Ü2 sabotage protection). The latter presupposes that your residence has been in the Federal Republic of Germany or a Member State of the EU for at least five years. Remarkable are: Knowledge of BSI standards (200-1, 200-2, 200-3 and 200-4) Good knowledge of international standards for BCM and IT emergency management and information security Experience in IT emergency management Experience with tools to support IT emergency management
