Full-time Capital Markets Officer (m/f/d)

With us you are sitting at the interface between economy on the one hand and politics and supervision on the other. You will expand the capital market expertise and the services offered by the BVI. You strengthen the BVI profile as a contact person for other capital market stakeholders at the Frankfurt Financial Centre, Berlin and Brussels. Their tasks include accompanying capital market developments and corresponding legislation at the German, European and global level. You support topics relating to the stock, pension and derivatives trade and support shareholder rights / corporate governance as well as the development of the BVI analysis guidelines for general meetings. As a representative of the buyside, you will conduct dialogue at all levels with relevant capital market institutions and bodies such as the Ministry of Finance, Supervision and EU institutions, stock exchanges, financial industry associations, issuers and investors. You serve the BVI bodies in capital market issues and represent the association in European and global working groups.

Interest in the stock market (from issue to trade) is assumed. You are suitable for the advertised position if you are an economic lawyer or economist or have completed an appropriate training. Negotiating English is important with regard to the international working environment. Experience in the financial sector, especially in the capital market, including trade and market infrastructure, is advantageous. We require the willingness to work on complex regulatory and economic issues. You are powerful, powerful and work independently, structured and result-oriented. Applied appearance and good argumentation and negotiation skills are among your strengths.
