Intern - Investigation of Release Agent Influences in PUR Foam Production (m/f/d)

In the production of sealing profiles made of polyurethane foam, the use of release agents plays a decisive role in ensuring efficient deforming and high surface quality of the components. The selection of the suitable release agent not only affects process stability and component quality, but is also of great importance in terms of cost-effectiveness and work safety. Literature research on the basics of composition and mode of action of release agents in PUR foam production Comparison of common release agents (e.g. solvent-based, water-based, etc.) with their advantages and disadvantages (costs, environmental compatibility, surface quality, etc.) Conducting laboratory tests on properties and effects of release agents on the PUR foam Evaluation and interpretation of laboratory results Developing a concept for a sustainable release agent

Education: Continuous studies in the field of chemistry, materials science, plastics technology or in a comparable scientific-technical study course Expertise: Basic knowledge of chemical and/or material sciences First experience in laboratory work desirable Knowledge of analytical methods and statistical analysis of advantage Structured and careful operation Safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel)

Language knowledge: Good knowledge of German or English in word and writing Personality: Self-employed and responsible work Analytical thinking Private initiative and willingness to learn Teamability and good communication skills
