Training train traffic controller 2026 with further qualification (m/f/d)

A study is too theoretical and doesn't fit you completely. You are currently looking for an alternative where you have very good development opportunities. We offer you to start training on 1. September 2026 the 2-year training for the railway operator:in the train control (w/m/d). After your practice-oriented training, you are directly connected with one of three possible further qualification. The training as a train taxer takes place at DB InfraGO AG at the Munich site. You are visiting seminars at DB Training in Munich. The vocational school is located in Landshut, a room is provided. In the training, you are in one of the numerous control centers of the railway (called ''Stellwerk'') and learn the following activities: you are testing and controlling the train with technical support, e.g. in the form of screens or display boards, so that the trains take the right path. You decide when to stop, drive or overtake the trains. You serve and set switches as well as light signals and thus influence the train traffic. In addition, you are in contact with the guides via Funk to inform them about changes. After your training and a 12-month practice as a train tax, you make one of three further qualifyings Specialist in railway operations at the headquarters or in the Munich network In the 2-year training, you either work on digital control units (operating center) or get to know various control systems from mechanical to electronic (Network Munich) During the 2-year further qualification as a specialist for railway operations, you will run various departments and get to know possible later areas of application After further qualification, you can enter as trainer for railway operations, as a train dispatcher or train designer, or take on personnel responsibility

Continuing qualification for the train disponent In the 2-year training you work on electronic control units at the headquarters The further qualification for the train subscriber takes about 6 weeks. Here you will learn to ensure the safe, punctual and non-discriminatory handling of the train. In case of schedule deviations, you coordinate overhauls

Continuing qualification in the road map In the 2-year training you work on electronic control units at the headquarters The further qualification for the train designer lasts 3-6 months. You will learn to allow the railway companies to travel plans without discrimination and with optimal use of our infrastructure, to comply with legal frameworks independently and to ensure communication to railway companies and operations
