Team Leader Communication Technology – Management position with strategic responsibility (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a qualified team of approx. 10 employees and actively shape the strategic orientation of our communications technology division. As a manager with technical expertise, you drive forward innovative projects, develop future-oriented concepts and ensure the successful implementation of complex customer projects. You are impulse generators, problem solvers and link between team, customer and management. Leadership & personnel responsibility: Technical and disciplinary management of a team with about 10 employees in communication technology Team building, team development and promotion of employees through targeted training and coaching Motivation, conflict management and ensuring a powerful, collegial team culture Strategic planning & further development: Strategic planning and further development of the area of communication technology in close coordination with the area management Responsibility for the implementation of projects, achievement of goals and continuous optimization of processes Perspective: Budget and Resource Planning incl. Forecast, cost control and investment planning Project management & quality assurance: Control and monitoring of complex customer projects in the field of communication technology and electrical engineering Ensuring and further developing quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) as well as compliance and safety regulations Analysis, optimization and standardization of processes to increase efficiency, quality and schedule Customer & Stakeholder Management: Close cooperation with customers, partners and internal interfaces to identify technical requirements Technical advice, supply creation and long-term care of business relations Representation of the area in interdisciplinary projects, bodies and management Technical responsibility: Conception and further development of innovative solutions in communication and electrical engineering Translation of technological trends in marketable applications and products Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (VDE, DIN, DGUV)

Training & qualification: Complete technical training, technician or master qualification in the field of electrical engineering, communication technology, information technology or communications technology Alternatively: Study of electrical engineering, communications technology, information technology or comparable discipline Leadership experience: At least 5 years of leadership experience in a management function with responsibility for teams and budgets Detectable experience in employee management, team development and personnel planning Guide style: cooperative, motivating, solution-oriented Professional experience & expertise: Multiannual professional experience in the field of communication technology, electrical engineering or telecommunications Funded technical know-how in at least one of the following areas: railway communication, network and IP technologies, radio technology, control center technology, video and safety systems, plant engineering, control and automation technology Experience in project management, in the development of complex customer projects and in budget and cost management Safe handling of tenders, scales, bills and follow-up management Technical skills & tools: Safe handling of relevant standards and regulations (VDE, DIN, DGUV) Good user knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ideally experience with project management software, ERP systems or building journal software Personal competencies: Strategic thinking, entrepreneurship and enforcement Embossed communication skills, negotiation skills and customer orientation Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Team skills, conflictability and empathy in dealing with employees Further requirements: German language and written knowledge (mind. C1 level) Driving licence class B and readiness to travel within the project region Standing for occasional missions and flexible working hours
