DevOps Engineer Cyber Security (m/f/d)

As a DevOps Engineer in the Cyber Defense Center, you are responsible for implementing cloud and container solutions, automating processes and ensuring system integrity. You work closely with the security analysts and are part of the R&D team involved in the further development of cyber security systems within our Cyber Defense Center. This ensures the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You: automates and operates CI/CD pipelines between GitHub Enterprise and our SIEM environment, including support and management of local runners. manages and automates infrastructure, deployment and operating processes in the DevOps environment and continuously develops existing systems. supports the design, testing and deployment of cloud services in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, platform services and security resources in the context of our Cyber Defense Center. plan, implement and operate container-based infrastructure and applications based on Kubernetes/OpenShift. actively participate in projects to introduce new technologies, automation solutions and innovations in the cloud, devOps and cyber security sector.

You: have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a completed IT training (e.g. specialist system integration / application development) or a comparable qualification or relevant professional experience in the IT environment. have 3-5 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or in a comparable role. has knowledge of script and programming languages (e.g. Python) as well as experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Azure Pipelines, Tekton or similar technologies. have practical experience in the administration, monitoring and further development of cloud infrastructures (ideally Azure) in the DevOps context. with GitHub, container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern deployment strategies. has knowledge of German in C1 level and English in at least B2 level. Works structured and self-responsive, thinks service-oriented and brings along analytical skills as well as troubleshooting expertise.
