Senior Consultant for Information Security (m/w/d)

BWI's Consulting Digital Security offers attractive opportunities to introduce your individual potential in the security of information for IT projects for federal defence services. We work together on current and future challenges of our customers and help to answer the highly complex operational and strategic security issues and support project leaders in operational implementation.

Support in the introduction of information security management systems

Introduction of the status quo for IS and the development of effective measures to achieve the targeted IS level

Control of compliance and implementation of information security requirements in IT projects

Conception and planning of the creation of IT security concepts, implementation of risk and protection requirements analyses

Independent and proactive project work in the field of information security

Analysis of IT systems and creation of security architectures & concepts

Creation and implementation of risk analyses, assessments in information security

Control of internal and external colleagues as SPOC in security projects

Application of the BSI Basic Protection Method

Application and advice on different information security frameworks (ISO, BSI, NATO, NIST, MITRE) incl. Documentation

Successfully completed subject-related university studies in computer science, business informatics, digital project management or comparable

Min. 4-year professional experience in information security

In-depth expertise in the area of ISMS, basic IT protection or security projects

Found experience in project work as well as experience in customer projects in public service / industrial environment

Experiences with GRC Tools e.g. SAVe or Verinice

Knowledge of the ISO27000 standard series, basic BSI protection, GDPR provided

Certifications according to BSI Grundschutzpraktiker, CISM, CISSP or similar desirable

Knowledge and practical experience on the following topics: Information Security Management, IT Security - Standards/Provisions, Privacy & Secret Protection, Compliance Controls, Cyber Security, Security Tools and Infrastructures

Very good German knowledge and good English knowledge in word and writing

Team skills, customer orientation and discussion and negotiation skills

Analytical thinking and a high degree of creativity
