The unit Plant and Construction Monitoring Oberbau evaluates inspections, detects damages early and prioritize necessary maintenance measures. It develops suitable strategies, selects suitable methods and ensures the availability of construction and spare parts. In addition, it monitors inspections on tracks, switches and lane crossings and implements regulatory requirements.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You evaluate inspections and detect damage to tracks and installations at an early stage. In addition, you will prioritise maintenance after safety and urgency. Together with the owner, you develop short- and long-term maintenance strategies and select suitable maintenance procedures. You make sure that construction and spare parts are available in time. Railway crossings, tracks and switches You monitor reliably and accompany inspections of the national railway control.

You have a degree in civil engineering with a focus on rail transport or a comparable degree as a masterin/technist in track construction and many years of relevant professional experience. You will already bring the training to the construction or construction manager railway. In addition, you bring the training to the specialist rail technology or the willingness to obtain this qualification. Railway operations, maintenance of track systems and work such as welding, plugs, milling and grinding are not strange to you. You also have basic knowledge of signal and transmission technology. You meet the health requirements of EBO and are qualified for the sole stay in the track area. You are experienced in dealing with Microsoft Office and SAP.
