You plan and design LAN, WAN, WLAN and cloud networks for demanding IT environments Develop network architectures for data centers, locations and hybrid on-premises and cloud environments The concept of high-availability and georedundant network architecture is your responsibility Developing network strategies, standards and architecture specifications and continuously optimizing Rate and select suitable network and security technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN and NAC Security requirements such as network segmentation, Zero Trust, VPN and IDS/IPS are integrated into architecture In close cooperation with IT security, cloud, platform and infrastructure teams, you will implement architecture requirements Analyze complex network problems and solve them and assist in technical escalation Create architecture concepts, migration plans, technical documentation and perform performance analyses and capacity planning In addition, you will be supporting tenders, projects and architectural reviews Advice means flexibility: Your project work depends on our customers and your project situation – you work throughout Germany in our offices, at the local and home customers

You have a degree in computer science, network technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience in network engineering and ideally in the planning and architecture of larger network environments Experience in enterprise, data center or carrier environments is advantageous A pronounced analytical and conceptual thinking characterizes you You have the ability to explain complex technical relationships in a comprehensible way and to advise different stakeholders in a professional manner You work independently and structured and show the willingness to take responsibility in projects Team skills and experience in cross-departmental cooperation are available Good knowledge of German and English (min. B2) complete your profile
