Responsibility for the active management and production of the monthly and annual accounts of German subsidiaries according to HGB and IFRS Creation and monitoring of liquidity planning, cash flow forecasts and working capital monitoring in close cooperation with the Treasury department Creation of ad hoc analyses and financial reports for management functions Ensuring compliance with compliance policies, regulatory requirements and internal corporate policies Discipline and professional leadership of an employee Close monitoring and control of the external accounting service provider for German legal units to ensure efficient, correct and timely accounting processes Continuous optimization and quality assurance of financial and accounting processes, including cooperation in system implementations and process digitalization in cooperation with the central corporate departments Monitoring and implementation of changes in HGB and IFRS accounting Contact person and supervisor for auditors for annual audits and active cooperation in audits

Education: completed study of economics with a focus on accounting, further education on accounting (IHK) or a comparable qualification Experience and know-how: at least 5 years relevant professional experience with responsibility for independent legal units, sound knowledge in HGB and IFRS accounting are prerequisite, safe handling with SAP ECC 6.0 (module FI and ideally module CO) and very good knowledge in MS Office applications are expected Advantage: Experience with external global accounting services Personality and working methods: pronounced analytical skills, independent working, enforcing ability, responsibilities with hand-on mentality, IT affinity Languages: knowledge of German and English in word and writing
