At 01.03.2027 we are looking for a social education / social worker* for the social service for families in the social area West (m/w/d) The Department of Social Affairs works in Ulm according to a decentralized social space concept. Around 53 employees from different disciplines work closely together in the West social area in order to support families, children, young people and adults. The social service for families is a central part of the interdisciplinary team and works closely with other specialist services, free institutions and cooperation partners in the social area. Payment is made by S14 TVöD-SuE.

Your tasks: Granting and implementation of assistance for education to SGB VIII and preparatory assistance Perception of the protection order in the case of child welfare at risk according to § 8a SGB VIII, including implementation of inobservations according to § 42 SGB VIII and participation in family court proceedings according to § 50 SGB VIII Advising and supporting families in case of separation, divorce and handling pursuant to Sections 17 and 18 SGB VIII Granting and implementation of integration aid under SGB VIII and SGB IX individual support for refugees, young people and young people following and in their social environment Implementation of interim measures taken by foreign children and young people in accordance with § 42a SGB VIII and participation in the procedures for distribution pursuant to § 42b SGB VIII individual work with unaccompanied minor aliens (UMA) Processing of adult hazards

Your profile: completed studies of social work / social education with state recognition (Diplom / Bachelor) independent and structured working and responsibility strong communication and cooperation capability and enforcement capability Loadability and flexibility in dealing with different family and social situations estimating, aspiring and professional handling of children, adolescents, parents and other stakeholders, as well as willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation with colleagues from other professions and cooperation with supporters and other partners outside the administration
