W2 Professorship in Computer Science, in particular Networked Systems in Medicine (m/f/d)

You teach primarily in the study programme 'Medical-Technical Informatics' and in the study programmes 'Media and Communication Informatics' and 'Human Centered Computing'. You make didactically sound courses at the Bachelor and Master level in German and English. You use and design the laboratory infrastructure for implementing project-oriented teaching formats. You conduct research in the field of your professorship and engage in collaborative research projects. You serve students individually and actively and are present at the university. You actively participate in the academic self-government and in the team of the degree program.

A completed university degree and a relevant doctorate. Including at least five years of professional practice, usually three years outside the higher education sector. Knowledge in the field of secure networked systems in medicine. Experience in the field of medical informatics and/or medical technology. Ideally experience in application-oriented research and third-party funding. Very good educational skills, especially in dealing with heterogeneous teaching situations. Intercultural competence, initiative and enthusiasm to be part of a dynamic and committed team.
