Self-support and further development of public relations as well as responsibility for media external representation and overall communication of HIU Support for web presence and creation of advertising and information material Close cooperation with the scientific staff on the successful external presentation of research results Daily support of HIU's social media performances on LinkedIn and YouTube Organisation and support of group visits (including from politics and economics) and camera teams and journalists Participation in the organisation of conferences, workshops and events such as ''Girls ́ Day'' and ''Akademiewochen'' Support for scientific management in the preparation of presentations Contact person for HIU press requests and close cooperation with the press departments of the two partner universities The workplace is in Ulm.

A completed university degree (Master) of the Department of Communication Management, Communication Sciences, Media Sciences or Public Relations or a comparable subject or a degree at Bachelor level with many years of relevant professional experience Multiannual experience in media and/or science communication Interest in current research topics Experience in the press and public relations work of associations, companies or public institutions and in social media management Good technical knowledge of the common tools and platforms of the digital industry and common content management systems Ability to present complex thematic areas in line with target groups, streamlined and solution-oriented An advantage would be knowledge in the areas of event communication and search engine optimization (SEO) Communication strength as well as excellent oral and written expressiveness in German and English Fun on independent work as well as work on the team
