Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

On behalf of an internationally active industrial company from the mobility environment in the East of Baden-Württemberg, I am looking for a dedicated personality who is responsible for international financial reporting with her expertise in corporate accounting and actively shaping the further development of modern reporting and consolidation processes.

The position shall be fixed indefinitely.

Creating consolidated financial statements: You are responsible for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and ensure a high degree of quality. Consolidation: You take responsibility for the effort, income and debt consolidation and ensure a consistent and resilient data base. Analyzing figures: You check final data, analyze deviations and ensure the plausibility of the reported financial information. Intercompany differences: In close cooperation with the Group companies, identify and solve voting differences and thus contribute significantly to a high data quality. Support management: You create reports, ad hoc evaluations and decision-relevant analyses and provide a sound basis for business decisions. Developing processes: You actively contribute to the design and implementation of modern consolidation and reporting solutions and bring their own ideas to optimise existing processes. Establishing standards: You develop consolidation logics, data models, validation rules and reporting packages and make an important contribution to standardising financial processes.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of business management, finance, accounting or a comparable qualification. You have multi-year professional experience in Group Accounting and Group billing. You have sound accounting knowledge in accordance with IFRS; Knowledge in the HGB is of advantage. Ideally, you will bring experience in handling SAP FI/CO as well as common consolidation and reporting tools. You have already contributed to the introduction or further development of consolidation and reporting processes. You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing. You are characterized by a structured, analytical and self-responsible manner of operation and also keep an overview in complex situations. Own initiative, sense of responsibility and a high number affinity belong to your strengths as well as a solution-oriented hands-on mentality.
