Welcome to the old aid of the St. Elisabeth Association!

We offer nursing assistance, care and home care for older and needy persons. We are an integral part of the St. Elisabeth Association, a diaconian institution of child, youth and family aid, integration aid and old aid based in Marburg.

With five fully-stationary facilities, two day care facilities, outpatient housing groups for nursing and dementia patients as well as caring and nursing care, we have a network of graduated assistance and offers at different locations. We can certainly offer you an individually suitable workplace.

The work place is located in a large kitchen in the region weather, ideal for people who want to live and work in a quiet but well connected environment.

♪ These are your tasks as cook or cook (m/w/d):

As a cook or cook in our kitchen, you contribute daily to serving our residents with fresh, balanced and tasty meals. Together with your team, you prepare high-quality food and ensure a smooth running in the community care facilities.

Your duties include:

• The professional preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner times as well as desserts, supplements and intermediate meals according to predetermined meals.
• The preparation of foods taking into account various diets, diets and nutritional requirements, for example in case of diet or special food.
• The careful planning and organization of workflows within the kitchen to ensure a timely food supply.
• Participation in the preparation of varied and balanced food plans taking into account seasonal, regional and nutritional aspects.
• The adoption, control and professional storage of food and the monitoring of freshness, quality and minimum durability data.
• The consistent compliance of all hygiene, quality and safety regulations in accordance with the applicable HACCP guidelines and the proper cleaning and disinfection of workplaces, appliances and kitchenware.
• The economic processing of food and a responsible handling of goods, resources and work materials.
• Support in the order of goods, inventory control and stock organisation.
• Close cooperation with colleagues as well as the responsible areas of care facilities to ensure the necessary and high-quality meals.
