Business Continuity Specialist (m/f/d)

Business Consultant (m/w/d) Munich, up to 50% mobile work possible In order to strengthen information security, we are looking for a Business Continuity Specialist (m/w/d) that supports continuously expanding, developing and establishing the Business Continuity Management System across groups. In this role you work closely with relevant disciplines and make an important contribution to organisational resilience.

You control, monitor and develop the company-wide Business Continuity Management System, based on the BSI 200-4 standard and taking into account regulatory requirements such as DORA and NIS2. Designing and ensuring the implementation of regular analyses (BIA, risk analysis, gap analysis) as well as deriving suggestions for improvement and supporting the areas of expertise in the design of emergency precautionary and emergency management concepts is within their competence. In close cooperation with the CISO and management, you actively participate in the development of the Business Continuity Strategy. You regularly report on the current state of the BCMS. In addition to the design and organisation of the BCMS, their responsibilities include the planning and coordination of the implementation of BCM and IT emergency exercises. You are responsible for the preparation and regular updating of relevant guidelines, manuals and all related documents. You take over the prolongation of the group-wide emergency care concept as well as the emergency manual, as well as design and accompany training and awareness measures related to BCM. You assume the representation of the BCM manager or BCM officer and act as contact persons for internal and external auditors.

You have a degree in (economic) informatics or comparable training with relevant practical experience in the BCM environment. With at least 3 years of professional experience, you have a good understanding of technically complex issues and do not show any fears of contact in IT-related topics. You have a will to design and implement and proven methodological competence in the BCM environment through relevant professional experience and knowledge in BSI 200-4 and/or ISO 22301 as well as regulatory requirements such as DORA and NIS2. Thanks to your good communication and presentation capabilities, even at the top management level, you can understand complex ideas. Your structured working and team skills will help you work effectively and work with other disciplines. A strong team skills and excellent knowledge of German and good knowledge of English complete their profile.
