As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Senior Data Architecture Consultant (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Berlin, Nuremberg or Munich. Data are more than tables and systems for you – You are the key to better decisions, more resilient processes and true digital impact. In the consulting area Digital Technology you design architectures that make the Bundeswehr sustainable: safe, scalable and relevant for use.

You work where strategic advice meets technological excellence. Not only do you develop concepts on paper, but you create the basis for modern data platforms, analytic environments and AI-related solutions in a highly relevant environment.

You develop data architectures and target images for complex digitalization projects of the Bundeswehr – from data platforms to analytics to cloud and AI-related solutions You bring structure into complex requirements and translate technical requirements into sustainable architectural decisions You develop solutions that are not only technologically strong, but also work in sensitive, safety-critical environments You advise customers on data architecture, integration, scalability, interoperability and technological sustainability You create architectural concepts, decision-making documents and professional storylines for stakeholders, boards and customer presentations You work closely with enterprise architecture, delivery and specialist areas to make effective solutions from good ideas You are introducing yourself into offers, workshops and transformation initiatives and giving technological and methodological orientation You take responsibility, set impulses and help to further develop data-driven skills in the team and in the customer

Complete university studies in computer science, BWL with IT focus or a comparable qualification

You have at least four years of professional experience in Data Architecture, IT architecture, technical consulting or in a comparable role

You don't understand data architectures, data platforms, analytics, data engineering and cloud, but as part of a working overall picture

You can make complex technical relationships understandable and lead different stakeholders safely through architectural decisions

You know common methods and frameworks of architecture work, such as TOGAF, NAF or ARIS

You bring know-how in modern data and AI technologies, such as big data, analytics, foundation models, RAG or LLM-close architectures

You think not only in technology, but also in effect, security, governance and feasibility

You work structured, communicate clearly and you want to really move something in a challenging environment

You speak very well German and good English and have the willingness to travel
