As head of the IT Infrastructure and Support section, you will be a strong team responsible for the 1st to 3rd level support and the smooth technical operation of our entire IT infrastructure. In this key role, you lead an interdisciplinary team, develop our IT landscape strategically and secure a stable and future-oriented IT operation for around 2,000 users in the Heilbronnn Land Council Office.

To strengthen our area of IT and digitalization with around 50 employees, we are looking for you as soon as possible

Guidance IT Infrastructure & Support (m/w/d)

Your APPROACH – This is what awaits you with us:

· Leadership & Strategy

You lead and develop a team of around 25 employees. You are responsible for the strategic development and designing a transparent and open communication. You promote a valuable, solution-oriented and independent team culture and ensure fast and comprehensible decision-making processes.

· IT architecture

You design and optimise our entire IT infrastructure – from server landscape to data backup – and continue to develop our system architecture in a future-oriented manner. You implement the highest safety standards and integrate innovative technologies.

· User Service & Support

You opt for IT support across all levels (1st to 3rd level) for efficient and qualified service. Kare processes, key figures monitoring and timely processing of inquiries/interferences are crucial for smooth operation and high employee satisfaction.

· IT Security

In close cooperation with our IT security experts, you ensure the security of our systems and data, evaluate new threats and implement proactive safeguards.

· Budget

You are responsible for budget planning for IT infrastructure and support, develop investment plans and ensure that all procurement activities support the strategic objectives of the IT sector.

· Knowledge management & training

You are responsible for the planning and control of internal IT training, the establishment of a living IT knowledge culture and the promotion of the continuous further development of our colleagues.

Your PROFIL – This brings you:

· Complete study in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification with multi-year professional experience in IT management

· Funded knowledge in the administration of networks, servers, virtualization technologies and IT security standards (e.g. basic BSI protection)

· Experience in managing technical teams or project groups – ideally in a comparable environment

· High communication competence, pronounced problem solving capability and a binding, team-oriented leadership style

· Sovereignty in the prioritization of complex topics, combined with a clear view for service quality and stability
