Process Engineer Spray Drying (m/f/d)

Process optimization & technical responsibility You analyze and optimize product wording processes to increase capacity, yield, quality and efficiency. You identify, specify and implement innovative processes. You ensure that legal requirements and internal standards for occupational safety, environmental and product protection are complied with. You guide production staff and student assistants professionally (no disciplinary leadership). Technical support and projects You plan, organize and accompany product launches from the innovation sector into production. You coordinate internal and external production experiments and analyze their technical, qualitative and economic results. You create or rework work instructions for the operation and cleaning of the plants and carry out training. You actively support the commissioning of new plants. In technical disorders, you are the central contact for Troubleshooting. Analysis & Knowledge Transfer You perform production and plant data and conduct process optimizations. You use modern methods of continuous improvement (e.g. Six Sigma, LEAN, PDCA). You carry out and conduct process laboratory analyses. You train employees in the (spray) drying technology.

Qualification A study of process engineering, chemical engineering, food technology, biotechnology or a similar field Very good knowledge of spray drying (nozzle, disc) At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the production of dry powders, in wage production (e.g. milk powder) or in the engineering of spray dryers Knowledge of further drying techniques (e.g. granulation, drum drying) are a plus Basic knowledge of quality assurance & food safety (FSSC22000, HACCP, ISOAudits) Recommended: Fermentation / Downstream experience (Heep extracts, active dry yeast) Project management experience and know-how in problem solving methods (Six Sigma, LEAN, PDCA) Personal skills You work analytically, structured and independent. You bring flexibility, problem solving skills and cost awareness. Teamwork is fun and you communicate clearly and constructively. You have very good German and English skills
