Number: MER0003K1R The technology change in the automotive industry, global supply bottlenecks, geopolitical risks and increasing costs for raw materials as well as energy present financial supplier risk management numerous challenges. The Financial Supplier Risk Management team offers you the opportunity to get exciting insights into this diverse field of activity for at least six months as part of an internship, to take responsibility for tasks and to introduce your expertise. Our task is to evaluate the financial stability of Mercedes-Benz AG's suppliers and to recognize early business crises. In close consultation with the shopping areas of Mercedes-Benz AG, we develop appropriate measures to ensure the part supply of the Group. These challenges include: Financial risk analyses of the Mercedes-Benz supplier portfolio and risk assessment of specific suppliers Preparation and production of detailed business analyses based on profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and capital flow accounts, including external credit rating agencies to assess the financial situation of suppliers Working in the planning and controlling and reporting of supplier special services Creation of special statistical analyses and evaluations for the entire supplier portfolio Working with the creation of suppliers Risk Maps to assess suppliers in geographical zones Creation of decision-making templates for management bodies in German and English, as well as the active preparation of the committee meetings Participation in supplier talks (virtual and on site)

BWL/Economics (with specialisation in Accounting / Corporate Finance) or a comparable degree programme First practical experience in the automotive industry, consulting or auditing desirable Advantageous knowledge of annual financial analysis and risk management Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint High commitment and independent working Team skills Analytical thinking Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
