They develop market-oriented and forward-looking surgical instruments for robotic surgery and successfully balance customer needs, technological possibilities, the quality of the brand Aesculap and yield potentials. They manage innovation projects with internal and external partners and create or test the necessary technical documentation. Through your good networking in the company as well as with external partners and customers you will recognize future market requirements and developments. They are responsible for the maintenance and optimization of existing products and their market availability. They work closely with cross-functional disciplines, in particular marketing, production, quality management, Regulatory & Medical Scientific Affairs, and are able to achieve the best possible result in compliance with all requirements. With your thorough knowledge of development processes and your customer orientation, you contribute to the timely and resource-optimized project fulfillment. You make your decisions based on a well-founded literature research and the assessment of the patent and competition situation.

They have successfully completed their studies in the field of medical technology, precision engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics. They have a multi-year experience in the development of medical devices (preferably in the field of robotic instruments). They have very good knowledge in applications of CAD, PLM, SAP, MS365 and have a self-motivation to apply new methods such as AI. You have experience in the application of relevant guidelines (MDR, ISO 13485, Design Control, Risk Management, Design Change Management). They communicate and negotiate safely in German and English.
