For more than 50 years, MERZ Verpacksmaschinen GmbH has developed and produced embroidery packaging machines, 3- or 4-sealing edge bag machines and metering units and special machines. Merz supplies complete, turnkey systems to final packaging. As a technical sales service / Technical Sales (m/w/d) you work closely in a four-person sales team. With us, you do not work isolated on partial tasks – you accompany the complete process from the first request to the contract – and always keep in mind the whole thing: a satisfied customer. Your tasks in detail: Question and technical clarification: You process customer requests, clarify technical and commercial details with the customer and the internal specialist departments, define the machine equipment and develop special solutions as needed in the team. Costing and supply creation: Based on technical clarification, you calculate sales prices for assemblies and total installations and create complete machine and plant offers. Negotiation and procurement: You systematically track offers, conduct negotiations with customers and check sales-relevant documents. Transfer and project support: With the order assignment you ensure a smooth transfer to the team-internal project management.

(m/w/d) or a technical study – alternatively a commercial training with technical training and relevant professional experience Embossed technical understanding and joy in developing individual solutions together with customers and internal disciplines Joy in working in the team and enthusiasm for actively shaping the entire sales process – not just individual steps Responsible, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength and safe occurrence – internally and to customers Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.) What is beneficial, but no need: Experience in the technical sales service / Technical Sales, project planning or sales of machinery and equipment. knowledge of the packaging machine industry or the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in handling an ERP system.
