The area "Air SIGINT Systems Engineering" is responsible for the definition and development of airborne education / SIGINT systems.

Your duties

“Compliance Verification Engineer” /Musterprüfingenieur according to the tasks and responsibilities of the civil and military authorisation procedures EASA Part 21J and DEMAR Part 21J Independent examination and signing of the airworthiness detection system in the role of Compliance Verification Engineer Responsibility for and production of proof documentation Support in creating and testing the “Declaration of Design and Performance (DDPs)” for Airborne SIGINT Support and advice of development in preparation for demonstration, incl. Document Reviews Accompanying laboratory and soil tests of the demonstration also for subcontractors in Germany and abroad Communication and coordination with civil and military licensing authorities Responsibility for maintaining airworthiness

Your profile

Complete study of aerospace engineering, engineering, communications technology, computer science, or a comparable study programme Long-term (min. 5 years) experience in aeronautical approval of civil and military modifications to large aircraft (e.g. CS-25) Proven practical experience as a “Compliance Verification Engineer” or in a similar role of aeronautical approval Experience in the integration of military systems in aircraft Extensive experience in the preparation and implementation of technical presentations and audits for regulatory authorities (EASA and LufABw) Experience in the approval of Airborne SIGINT, EW systems or similar complex military systems German and very good English knowledge in word and writing
