Senior Consultant (m/d) We are youth residences in Kiez – youth assistance gGmbH, short “Juwo”, a recognized freelance from Berlin with more than 8o educational projects and areas of application. We are professionals, both colourful and, if necessary, critical and courageous when it comes to the development and rights of children, young people and their families. From mid-August or after a joint agreement, we are looking for a full-time educator (m/w/d) as a springerin for the entire day at the joint school at the Campus Rütli in Berlin-Neukölln. Working hours are weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm. During the whole day, students are accompanied by the learning and leisure phases of the school day. Teaching and recreational care takes place for all students from 8 to 4 p.m. The training and accompaniment of disputers, the establishment and accompaniment of class councils and the independent implementation of social learning are only some of the needs-oriented and participative offers in the whole day. Your duties After a monthly consultation, you jump as an educatorin / social pedagogical specialist flexibly into different learning groups when assistance is needed You accompany pupils of different nationalities during the teaching period, based on an integrated supervision concept coordinated with the school. You provide support during lunch and homework You promote social learning in groups and school classes You are administering special leisure activities, AGs and project forms You conduct parental and family talks Your profile a vocational qualification as a state-recognized educator*in or as a comparable degree as a social pedagogical specialist is a prerequisite, e.g. childhood education, education, special education, medical education, etc. Language skills in German are also mandatory at level C1 You already have experiences in the field of youth assistance at school it is easy to get in touch with people, you are curious about different teams and can quickly adjust to them Group work is fun and you have a suitable method case with parents of the students you like to work together You have an appreciation of families with different history of origin You can expect from us: Remuneration: Our salary system is coordinated with the works council and is between €20.85 and €27.95 per hour (corresponding to the pay tables of the TV-L in the Land of Berlin). Additional qualifications (such as FK participation and inclusion) are rewarded with further supplements.
