You advise the employer as well as responsible persons on all issues of occupational and health protection. Your tasks include consulting in the planning of systems, procurement of technical tools, ergonomic workplace design and risk assessments. In your role, you carry out safety testing of plants, work equipment and procedures. You document identified defects and the measures derived therefrom. You investigate work accidents, analyze their causes and develop appropriate prevention measures. You also pay attention to the consistent use of personal protective equipment. As a specialist in occupational safety, you promote a safety-conscious behaviour in the company, carry out instruction and actively support the training of security officers.

A completed technical training (e.g. master, technician or engineer) or a medical background will help you and also meet the legal requirements for qualification as a specialist for occupational safety. You have at least 5–10 years of experience in occupational safety or in medical professions and feel safe in evaluating and implementing safety-related measures. Finded technical or medical knowledge, ideally complemented by know-how in dealing with integrated management systems, as well as distinct communicative skills characterize you. You work responsibly and team-oriented, are open to new ideas and have a result-oriented attitude. In addition, you bring very good German knowledge (- C1) and ideally English knowledge (- B2).
