Solution developer in the Geoinformatics Digital Laboratory (m/f/d)

To support our team in the TIM-GeO Techn department. We are looking for information management as a solution developer (w/m/d) in the Digitallabor Geoinformatik in our headquarters in Hannover.

Integration and modeling of complex (3-D) data sources as well as development and implementation of data-based analysis algorithms. Conception and construction of data infrastructures including metadata models, databases, web-based data portals and data-driven visualization using current digital transformation technologies. Development and integration of innovative data-driven applications, including for predictive maintenance, state monitoring and on‐the‐fly simulations using AI and big data methods. Analysis and development of technical requirements and development of PoCs, prototypes and MVPs, for example for web-based GIS/BIM systems, AR/VR visualizations or automated BIM interfaces. Planning and implementation of requirements and product workshops to collect technical requirements and improve the user-friendliness of digital products. Organisation and implementation of various workshop formats as well as active cooperation and representation of the motorway in professional bodies and nationwide working groups to develop technical standards and guidelines.

Successfully completed academic studies (Master/Diplom Univ.) in the field of geo- or building informatics, civil engineering or computer science, media informatics comparable skills, knowledge and experience Professional experience in the relevant field of tasks as well as high affinity for digital working methods. Safe handling of an object-oriented programming language as well as script languages such as Java, JavaScript or Python. Knowledge of software development, data modeling and distributed information systems as well as database systems and their query languages. Knowledge of structural statistics, conservation management and the application of relevant DIN standards. Very good German knowledge in word and writing and good English knowledge. That would be desirable: Handling GIS technologies such as ESRI and data formats, interfaces and web services. Experience in the technical evaluation and classification of new technologies, in particular in the geo and digital environment. Knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and/or in road construction projects including relevant standards. Experience of UX-/Usability methods or collaboration with AI projects as well as technical design of POCs and MVPs. Your personal strengths include: Embossed social and communicative competence.
