Master Trainee Plant Mechanics

With the know-how of our 2,300 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. You plan, organize and carry out training in the training occupation of plant mechanics:in accordance with the training regulations in the training establishment. You provide knowledge and skills in accordance with the valid profession You provide and ensure compliance with work security regulations (work security management system). You ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations. You control the training records and consider the trainee's time management system. You take the educational and didactic leadership as well as the guidance of the trainees. You monitor the progress of learning as well as the level of knowledge and production achieved. You conduct course, intermediate and final assessments and explain them. You prepare the trainees for the final exams Part 1 and Part 2 of the professional picture. You work in IHK's technical and audit committees. You co-ordinate and enter the divisions. You will be contacting parents, vocational schools, cooperation companies, specialist departments, IHK and other partners. You participate in care and disciplinary discussions and conduct them. You participate in training trips, study trips and trade fairs. You participate in the selection process for trainees and carry out this. You participate in pre- and onboarding and actively shape it. You are responsible for special tasks of the training management and guide trainee projects. You will be willing to participate in professional, educational and psychological training and take part in it. You attend interns.

You have a qualification as a technician:in, master:in or a comparable qualification. You have first professional experience in the field of work. You are in possession of the training examination according to AEVO (can also be purchased) You have educational-didactic skills for successful knowledge transfer of theory and practice You are characterized by a high level of enforcement, empathy, reliability and commitment. You are also characterized by a pronounced social competence as well as communication and team skills and responsible work. You have fluent German skills on at least level C1 ('Muss').
