Road Safety Officer (m/f/d)

As a specialist contact person, you will support and coordinate central traffic safety programs for the ADAC e.V., the ADAC Foundation and the DVR, in particular ADACUS, “Attention Auto” and the DVR traffic safety programs. You build the local network of Engaged and Volunteers in the field of road safety and create the foundations for sustainable voluntary structures. In doing so, you will bind existing engagement structures at local club level, develop new concepts for volunteer coordination and further expand the host network for the foundation and the regional club. The support of the moderator as well as the organization of training and networking events are also part of your tasks. The planning, management and implementation of traffic safety events in the regional club area as well as the acquisition of new cooperation partners and the maintenance of existing contacts are also part of your tasks. You take over the controlling, reporting and evaluation of traffic safety events as well as the professional and relevant audit. In the Transport, Traffic Safety and the Environment team, you support ongoing projects, research, applications and reports and contribute to the development of new topics. In addition, you cooperate in budget planning and budget planning and coordinate cooperation with honorary and minijobber. As a special task, you take over the implementation, evaluation and further development of the road safety strategy at the ADAC Regionalclub Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.

You have a successfully completed commercial vocational training with several years of professional experience in the relevant field of the subject or a study in the fields (social) pedagogy, adult education, social work or transport or Transport safety work. You bring experience in the moderation of groups and have ideally worked with volunteers and implemented educational opportunities in youth and/or adult education. You are safe to use the current MS Office applications. Knowledge of the functioning of associations and association work is advantageous. You work reliably, independently and structured, have good organizational and communication skills and keep an overview even in challenging situations. Team skills, loadability and a pronounced problem-solving competence complete your profile.
