As a senior process engineer in the field of assembly (m/w/x) you play a key role in the interaction of development, production and technology. You drive forward innovative solutions proactively – from process development to the introduction of new technologies to scaling into series production. You work in a team consisting of 15 employees. If you are happy to analyse complex technical challenges, shape precise processes and successfully conduct interdisciplinary projects, we are happy to meet you.

Guide complex, interdisciplinary projects with the responsibility for optimizing the assembly environment in terminal and assembly assembly.

Planning, implementation and evaluation of experiments, including data analysis and statistical techniques for continuous process improvement

Development and introduction of new technologies, in particular in the fields of automation, robotics and digital twins.

intensive cooperation with internal specialist departments and external research and development partners

Compilation of technical documentation and reports

Support in scaling innovative processes from laboratory phase to series production

Participation in the further development of methods, tools and standards in the field of industrial engineering / process development

completed university studies (master or doctoral degree) in engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable discipline

multi-year professional experience in process development and optimization, ideally in the assembly environment (experience in cleanroom or cleanroom processes is advantageous)

strong knowledge in handling optical components and experience in optical measurement technology

Skills to develop, optimize and evaluate production processes by applying scientific methods

Knowledge of the planning, implementation and evaluation of experimental series

high problem-solving competence, structured functioning, pronounced analytical-scientific thinking and the ability to quickly capture complex technical relationships

high ability to work together in the team, strong communication skills and self-motivation

very good knowledge of German and English
