Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurance companies and asset managers to be successful in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.

As part of our Digital Engineering & Emerging Technologies team, you will advise leading financial institutions on three closely linked priorities: cloud and data center transformation, sovereign cloud strategies & digital sovereignty and IT infrastructure strategy. You can do a variety of tasks: Support for migration planning and implementation: dependency remediation, data relocation and refactoring, post-migration validation and use of EY Migration Accelerators & Playbooks and participation in the analysis of existing IT and data center landscapes Working with the definition of sovereignty requirements: workload and data sovereignty assessments, vendor and cloud architectures as well as piloting and validation and support in the design of sovereign landing zones: data residence and encryption architectures, identity & access management, logging, monitoring & auditability concepts (SO) Participation in the analysis of regulatory requirements (DORA, BAIT, EBA, BaFin) and development of Sovereign Operating Models and Sovereign Cloud Re-Platforming Concepts Support in the development of IT infrastructure and data center strategies in line with regulatory, compliance, resilience and supervisory requirements and AI infrastructure planning Use and Development of EY-Assets: Sovereign Landing Zone Blueprints, Cloud Provider Archetype Assessor, Sovereign Readiness Assessment Matrix, Centralized Logging & SOC Integration Model and External Key Management & Encryption Architecture

Successfully completed studies in computer science, economic informatics, economic engineering, business management, mathematics or a comparable degree course First knowledge in the field of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), IT infrastructure or data center management and ideally first experiences with sovereign cloud providers, encryption, IAM concepts or infrastructure strategy frameworks Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
