You enable software functions, improvements and new features to be brought directly into the vehicle without a workshop visit. As a working student*in, you support our interdisciplinary team at the interface of software development, product management and user experience. You will get exciting insights into modern vehicle software, agile development processes and the use of AI-based working methods. These challenges include: Knowing and Analysis of OTA Processes, Software Update Flows and Vehicle Use Cases Implementation of software flashings of new levels of development on test systems and vehicles Reading and preparing log files and first technical analysis of error scenarios Testing of new software functions and bug fixes on test benches and in the vehicle Product Ownern and UX Engineers support in tracking requirements, features, user stories and test cases Working with the use of modern AI tools and AI agents to automate and optimize development processes Support for documentation, data analysis and quality assurance The activity can start from October 2026.

Studies in computer science, software engineering, vehicle engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical course Basic knowledge of software development or great interest in expanding it First experience in handling Linux and working in the terminal Interest in modern AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude or comparable AI Agents Analytical way of thinking and a structured and independent way of working Good knowledge of German and English Enthusiasm for innovative vehicle functions, digital products and over-the-air technologies Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
