Associate Portfolio Management – Structured Export Finance (m/f/d)

From the moment of the Financial Close, you take the main responsibility for our loans and are responsible for the analysis of credit migration trends as well as for the care of internal metrics. You control all payment requirements together with internal and external stakeholders, including the requirements of export credit agencies (ECA). Carefully check annual risk assessments, create and distribute reports according to internal policies, regulatory requirements, rating agencies, and other external partners, and answer ad hoc requests for portfolio building and exposure. You monitor the credit risks of the SEF portfolio as well as its collateral, including the ECA cover, and keep an eye on the compliance of risk and financial parameters as well as other credit contracts requirements. By working inquiries, follow-ups, modifications and legal supplements, you play an active role in Waiver / Amendment management – both internally and externally as well as in cooperation with ECAs. In addition, you support your Team Lead and ensure that all internal and external regulatory controls and audits are processed promptly and properly. To achieve this, you coordinate portfolio and transaction management, provide necessary insights, reports and samples and actively participate in discussions. In the case of payment failure or restructuring, you communicate with the ECAs for compensation and work with the internal restructuring team of the ING on solutions. In each step, you are the primary contact for our customers as well as the back office team, offer solutions to all operational problems with the SEF portfolio and – in cooperation with external partners – ensure both our data integrity and the up-to-dateness of the required banking/credit insurance companies, such as CPRI.

Successful academic career that reflects process and analytical skills Several years of professional experience in comparable portfolio function, practice with ECAs is a plus Dynamic personality with entrepreneurial thinking and acting Customer-oriented, ambitious, committed and team-oriented Excellent written communication skills Flowing German, French and English in word and writing, knowledge in another foreign language is advantageous
