DevSecOps Lead – Java (m/f/d)

As a DevSecOps Lead / Principal DevSecOps Engineer in the team BiPRO, you will take over the lateral leadership of a developer team together with Scrum Master and Product Owner and will be responsible for its technical and methodological development. In this role, you develop, optimise and operate interfaces for the digital connection of external partners to our cloud native stack – consistently aligned with the valid BiPRO standards and standards. You actively participate in the creation of technical concepts, work out implementation alternatives and prepare sound basis for decisions. The awareness of security aspects and compliance in the development and operation of our applications is strengthened and DevSecOps principles are permanently anchored in the team. You are actively contributing to shaping our IT landscape and providing impulses for the further development of our platforms and processes. You use the free space to evaluate new technologies, try prototypes and – where appropriate – establish them in the organization.

Complete study of computer science or comparable qualification. Multiannual experience in software development, in particular in the development and operation of cloud applications. Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Docker. Learn how to use tools for test automation, CI/CD and IT security. Knowledge of Azure as well as the insurance industry and the BiPRO services are advantageous Excellent communication skills in German in word and writing to clearly convey complex facts.
