In our heart catheter laboratory at the Klinik für Innere Medizin I des St. Johannes Hospitals Dortmund you will find a structured, professionally high-quality working day in an experienced team.

Your working day – tasks

• Preparation, assistance and follow-up in diagnostic and interventional interventions in the heart catheter laboratory, in electrophysiology and in pacemaker implantations
• Monitoring of vital parameters and patient status during invasive cardiological procedures
• Assistance in emergency interventions and participation in the care of patients in the Cardiac Arrest Center
• Preparation of materials, equipment and sterile work areas for interventional interventions
• Digital documentation of studies, interventions and nursing measures
• Cooperation with doctors, functional services and other professional groups in the interventional environment
• Accompanying and care of patients before, during and after surgery
• Participation in the structured call service after completion

That speaks for you

• Complete training as a nurse, health and nursing staff, emergency medical staff or comparable qualification
• Interest in interventional cardiology and technical workflows
• Experience in the heart catheter laboratory, surgery, intensive care, endoscopy or functional service
• Safe working in acute and emergency situations
• readiness to incorporate into interventional procedures and medical documentation systems
• Structured and responsible working in the team
• Practical leader qualification or cardiological additional qualifications desirable
