Trainee Program - Business Management Capital Markets (m/f/d)

In our 12-month trainee program, you will learn about the business management department as well as adjacent units within and outside the capital markets sector. You will get exciting insights into different topics and work actively from the outset. After your trainee program, you have a very good overview of the tasks of business management and have extensively met central processes – even across different interfaces. Already during the program, you take first developer activities in teams of our agile delivery organization and actively participate in the implementation of change projects of the NRW.BANK. At the same time, you complete the external AEFMA dealer certificate and further develop your English language skills until negotiating security. During the entire trainee program and when you enter your later target position, you will be accompanied by fixed contact persons: both in the specialist area and in the staff area – so that you can develop professionally and personally optimally.

You have successfully completed a degree in economics (Master of Arts, if applicable also Bachelor, if you have also completed a bank training) and have already gained first professional experience in the financial sector. You have basic knowledge of financial instruments and financial mathematics or you have great interest in it – as well as in the booking of capital market products. Complex, processive and cross-area questions awaken your curiosity and your will to design. Numbers lie to you, and you have a pronounced analytical mindset as well as good conceptual skills. Ideally, you have already gained experience in projects or know yourself with agile project management methods. You have a high affinity for digital solutions and are passionate about the use of digital and AI technologies. You bring good English knowledge in word and writing. Even in challenging situations, you remain resilient, flexible and solution-oriented. With your very good communication and cooperation capability, you are a real team member and are happy to work with others.
