Company: Aesculap AG Job location: DE-Tuttlingen (Aesc.Platz) Functional area: Research and development Working model: Hybrid Requirement number: 4851 For the Aesculap division at the Tuttlingen site, we are looking for a development engineer (w/m/d) – Laparoscopy for our Research & Development – Instrument Platforms Minimally Invasive Surgery division.

They develop market-oriented and forward-looking surgical instruments for minimal invasive surgery and successfully balance customer needs, the technological possibilities, the quality of the brand Aesculap and yield potentials You manage innovation projects with internal and external partners and create or test the necessary technical documentation You recognize future market requirements and developments through your good networking in the company and with external partners and customers They are responsible for the maintenance and optimization of existing products and their market availability They work closely with cross-functional disciplines, in particular marketing, production, quality management, Regulatory & Medical Scientific Affairs, and are able to achieve the best possible result in compliance with all requirements. With your thorough knowledge of development processes and your customer orientation, you contribute to project fulfillment that is timely and resource-optimized You make your decisions based on a well-founded literature research, as well as the assessment of the patent and competition situation

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of medical technology, precision engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics You have a multiannual experience in the development of medical devices You have very good knowledge of applications of CAD, PLM, SAP, MS365 and have a self-motivation to apply new methods such as AI You have experience in the application of relevant guidelines (MDR, ISO 13485, Design Control, Risk Management, Design Change Management) You communicate and negotiate safely in German and English Personal competencies They encounter conflicts with calm, clarity and a solution-oriented view You see challenges as valuable opportunities for your personal development They convince by performance and achieve outstanding results They act customer-oriented, find common solutions and network sustainable and partnership You interact constructively, take responsibility and actively share your knowledge You have a communication strength that helps you to perform safely in the international and interdisciplinary environment They are able to think creatively and analytically to solve problems.
