In this role, you will have line management responsibility for our cleaning and teams (around 15 employees), with a strong focus on complex optical coatings for series production parts at our new manufacturing site. You will therefore be responsible for the on‐time delivery performance of your area.

Your Responsibilities Ensure that the production plan is executed on time and in line with requirements, and set priorities according to the situation and business needs.

Make timely, well‐founded decisions in a dynamic production environment and adjust workflows effectively in case of disruptions or short‐term changes.

As the responsible manager, plan, organize and monitor resources – including, equipment, materials and production assets – based on economic and efficiency criteria.

Together with the relevant interface functions, continuous analyze and optimize manufacturing processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Monitor production quality, define and trigger suitable inspection and determining measures, and contribute to the definition and refinement of quality standards.

In close collaboration with all stakeholders, assess changes with regard to their impact on productivity and quality, trigger optimizations and contribute pragmatic, shop‐floor-oriented improvement ideas.

Successfully completed technical university degree, or technical vocational training with further qualification as a certified technician or master craftsperson (f/m/x), or an equivalent qualification.

Several years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment, including proven leadership experience in managing teams.

A high level of personal initiative and a structured, independent way of working, combined with strong problem‐solving skills; you remain composed and effective under dynamically changing conditions.

Strong communication and presentation skills that enable you to address and engage different stakeholder groups appropriately.

Knowledge of lean and production planning / shop‐floor control is an advantage; you apply your strong analytical and logical thinking skills to drive sustainable improvements.

You are fluent in German for daily collaboration at the site and confidently in English at least at level B2, enabling effective cooperation with international stakeholders.
