We are looking for the waste industry Stuttgart (AWS) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay.

The AWS employs around 1,000 employees in the headquarters on Stöckach and at various locations throughout the city. The road cleaning department with winter service and public toilet facilities takes care of road cleaning around the clock during shift operation, including the emptying of paper baskets and underground collection points as well as special cleaning. It is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of currently 75 public toilets and for the winter service on roads, walking and cycling routes. About 350 employees work in this department.

A job that enthuses you

• Your tasks include performing regular maintenance work on public toilet facilities
• You take over the identification and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic faults in the systems
• You are responsible for checking the safety devices in the toilet facilities
• The inspection, cleaning and maintenance of wastewater pipelines is also part of your tasks
• They support the department in emergency cases
• They are in close cooperation with external service providers

Your profile that suits us

• a completed training as a plant mechanic/in SHK, gas and water installer/in, construction locker/-in or flaschner/-in (subject to a state recognition required for foreign degrees)
• They ideally have practical experience in sanitary facilities
• independent, structured working and problem-solving capability
• Ownership of driving licence class B (copy of driving licence required)
• Willingness to take over emergency and emergency services
• good knowledge of German in word and writing
