Engineer Construction Coordination Power Grid (f/m/d)

The Stuttgart networks ensure that electricity and gas arrive reliably at people around the clock in Stuttgart. As a distribution system operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600 kilometres long power grid and the 2,100 kilometres long gas network of the state capital. In addition to security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the networks to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and to create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. In addition, we serve 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of the Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital Stuttgart on the way to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees. The employees in the “construction coordination and quality assurance” build the infrastructure for the energy transition in the Stuttgart network area. The Team Mitte/Nord supports all Stuttgart districts north and west of the center. In these districts we carry out construction measures and special projects for the renewal of electricity and gas lines in the distribution network using external service providers. Our daily work focuses on the commissioning of contractors for quality control with regard to safety at work, maintaining our quality standards and coordination of all stakeholders to ensure a smooth construction process.

Academic qualification: You have completed your studies in civil engineering (ideally with focus on civil engineering, road construction), electrical engineering. Alternatively, you have acquired an equivalent qualification through many years of professional experience Industry-specific knowledge: knowledge in the construction of cable networks is advantageous, but no requirement Personal strengths: They are characterized by a safe occurrence, negotiation skill and self-employment. At the same time, you will be happy to work in the team and can quickly get involved in new topics Technical skills: They are safe in handling MS Office and ideally also have knowledge of SAP Language skills: Your German knowledge is reliable (min. C1) Mobility: You have a class B driving licence and are willing to operate in the Stuttgart area
