Head of Accounting

Accounting Responsibility for a growing telecommunication company. Our customer is an agile and future-oriented company based in southern Germany. As a subsidiary of financially strong, well-known investors who pursue a long-term and sustainable commitment, the company is active on the market with around 350 employees. The continuous expansion of modern, powerful technology makes a significant contribution to the comprehensive digital infrastructure in Germany. As part of a follow-up regulation, we are looking for a professionally versed and communication-strong personality for the position as Head of Accounting

Together with your currently seven employees in accounting, you are centrally responsible for the company's financial processes. In addition to compiling the financial statements and consolidation, you are responsible for ongoing reporting to management, banks and investors. Through the continuous support of the operational departments, e.g. in the course of ad hoc requests, you contribute significantly to the successful business development. You serve the auditors as well as tax advisors, advise the management, e.g. in evaluating new business models, and work closely with other departments, e.g. taxes and investment accounting. The continuous optimization of the structures in the main accounting, creditor accounting and debitor accounting as well as the reporting processes, e.g. by automation and digitization, are further core tasks. In this context, you define the IT requirements of the area and bear responsibility for the budget. The valuable, potential-oriented development of your team completes the versatile task profile.

For this equally exciting and demanding task in a dynamic, international environment, we are addressing ambitious accounting specialists:inside with design standards. Based on an economic study or comparable training You gain multi-annual well-founded experience in accounting, reporting and ideally in tax law. A secure application of HGB and IFRS as well as experience with SAP FI/CO, BI tools and MS Office are provided. Knowledge of telecommunications or a comparable dynamic and investment-intensive environment is of advantage as well as experience in M&A and post-Merger integration. You combine specialist knowledge with pronounced process and solution orientation and drive automation as well as efficiency enhancement. Business models and operational value drivers quickly capture and develop practical optimization approaches. As a persuasive and sovereign personality, you are an esteemed contact person:in management, investors and specialist areas. Analytical and strategic thinking, paired with agility, flexibility and communication strength, distinguish.
